1. What are the system requirements for Hatch?
Hatch works on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). For the best performance, use at least 16 GB of RAM, a fast processor (Intel i5/i7 or similar), and an SSD. Mac users can run Hatch with Parallels or another Windows virtualization tool.

2. Which embroidery machines are compatible with Hatch?
Hatch supports most brands. You simply export your design in the correct file format (PES, DST, EXP, JEF, HUS, etc.) and load it to your machine via USB stick or direct connection.

3. Which Hatch level should I choose?

  • Organizer     ……… Manage and convert designs.
  • Personalizer……….Add lettering, monograms, and customization.

  • Composer    ………Create and modify designs without digitizing.

  • Digitizer        ………The full package, including advanced digitizing and custom stitches.

4. How do I export a design to my machine?
Save your project as an .EMB file first. Then go to File ,  Export Design, choose your hoop size, and select the correct machine format (e.g. PES, DST, EXP).

5. Can I run Hatch on a Mac?
Yes, but only through Windows virtualization (such as Parallels or Boot Camp). Hatch is Windows-only.

6. How can I learn Hatch more quickly?

7. What should I know about stitches, underlay, and stabilizers?
Use underlay for stability, adjust density for your fabric, and always test your design on a scrap piece first. Careful planning avoids gaps and puckering.
